Our Essence

Formally established in 2006, the heart of The Saville Foundation’s work has been based on a profound belief in the transformative power of inner work. We have seen that this has been key to the success of our unique and extraordinary journey.

 

Our mission is centred on investing in human potential with a focus on education, community, and the environment. At the core is a commitment to regeneration—of both the self and the natural world. This interconnectedness guides everything we do, from nurturing young minds to addressing environmental and societal challenges. We believe that as we regenerate ourselves, we regenerate the world around us, creating a future based on unity, awareness, and love.​

Our Approach

We believe that human connection is the essence of high impact projects. In this context, we judge success based on whether we have listened to hear, instead of to respond. Listening sensitises us to the real changes needed within a specific sector, institution or community. This is how we gain insight into where our developmental focus should be.

 

​​Instead of the role of donor, we prefer to engage as partners, offering not only funding but also strategic guidance, operational support, and catalytic resources to empower initiatives. This approach fosters the natural emergence of innovative solutions.

As we expand our impact through a growing global ecosystem, we deepen our commitment to co-creating a better future alongside those most affected by today’s fractured societies. To do so, we strongly advocate for community-led development  which honours the wisdom and capabilities of those affected by our non-inclusive social systems.  In line with these values, we look to galvanise partnerships with like-minded organisations to transform philanthropy and redefine how humanity and nature can flourish together.
